Harry Gentry - Actor
[edit]Harry Gentry is a British actor from the South of England, best known for his work in theater and opera. Gentry discovered his passion for performing at a young age, beginning his acting journey when he was just eight years old. He grew up in a supportive and creative environment, which allowed him to develop a strong interest in the arts.
Gentry attended Bexhill Academy, where he was actively involved in school productions and local drama groups, laying the foundation for his future career in performance. His early exposure to a variety of dramatic forms, from acting to singing, shaped his eclectic approach to his craft.
Professional work.
[edit]Harry’s professional debut came when he was still a child, but it was his first major role at the age of 15 that truly marked the start of his career. Gentry made his professional debut with Prologue Opera, where he played the role of Angelotti in the reimagined opera - Becoming Tosca Touring the South East, most notably Battle Abbey School, Stables theatre and St Mary’s - Guildford.
This production was a significant milestone for Gentry, demonstrating his potential as both a performer and a talent in the arts.
Harry also has worked with companies like Southeast opera and the White Rock Theatre where he found his love for theatre and most recently played ‘Willy Wonka’ in their most recent Summer Youth Project, Directed by Hastings pantomime star Ben Watson.

Training.
In 2024 Gentry made another significant decision in his career by announcing that he would be attending the prestigious Emil Dale Academy to further pursue his passion for performing arts. The academy, renowned for its comprehensive training in acting, singing, and dance, marks the next step in Gentry’s professional development.
