Assan Jallow was born in Banjul, The Gambia, on January 20, 1978. He graduated from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, India, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (2010) and a Master's degree in Business Economics (2012). In 2013, he earned a Master of Commerce (MCOM) with a concentration in Taxation from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. In 2017, Assan earned a Ph.D. in Public Economics from USTOM. In addition, Assan graduated with an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. In 2023, Assan will complete a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with a concentration in Economics at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, United States of America.
