Message added {{{ts}}}. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:User:Anon126/Simple talkback}}). |
This is an enhanced talkback template that uses Template:Talkback and adds an appropriate section header.
Usage
[edit]This should be placed on the user talk page of a user to alert someone of a response on a different page.
{{User:Anon126/Simple talkback|page=|section=|ts=~~~~~}}
- page: The page where the discussion is taking place. Note: If the discussion is on a user talk page, User talk: is not required. On all other talk pages the Talk: or similar prefix is necessary.
- section: Optional. The section that has the relevant discussion.
- ts: Optional. The current timestamp. Generally this should be five tildes:
~~~~~
Preload
[edit]This may be used in conjunction with User:Anon126/Simple talkback/Default (a default usage of this template) and User:Anon126/Simple talkback/Editintro (an edit intro with information about talkbacks).
The following code generates a URL that allows someone to leave a talkback with this usage.
{{fullurl:Your talk page|action=edit§ion=new&preload=Default usage&editintro=Editintro}}
- Your talk page: Name of your user talk page: User talk:Your username
- Default usage: Page with the default usage for the talkback, which can be found at User:Anon126/Simple talkback/Default. You may want to copy this to your userspace, but it is not necessary. Important: Replace any spaces with underscores (_).
- Editintro: Page with a notice for other users, which will appear above the editing area. This can be found at User:Anon126/Simple talkback/Editintro, but you should make another version in your own userspace (because it includes my name). Important: Replace any spaces with underscores (_).
