BESA (Brain Electrical Source Analysis), is a German company developing software for EEG and MEG data analysis (Event-related Potentials, Time-frequency analysis, Coherence, Source Analysis) for research and clinical use [1]

Founded in 1995 by Dr. Michael Scherg under the former name of MEGIS Software GmbH. The company changed its name to the current BESA GmbH in 2010.
