My name is amanda138a. I am a proud Scot, hailing from the picturesque North East, I have been a "tinkerer" here on Wikipedia for some years now, mostly with grammar and spelling, I don't specifically look for edits but if I see something I will change it. I do not profess to be an expert by any means but I'd like to think I'm useful in my own way.

I use Wikipedia often when I'm reading I will find a name or phrase I'm unsure of and will search for it, this often leads me into hours of going from article to article learning more as I go.
