User:A niche kale geek
Hi, I'm A niche kale geek (he/him).
I'm a South African researcher with a bachelor of science degree. I like to look out for topics that are missing or incomplete, and I think I tend to make big, infrequent, carefully-sourced edits. I'm a stickler for good referencing! If you catch me making an edit without a good source to back it up, please (politely) call me out on it.
I like Star Trek, role-playing games, and punk music.
I'm feeling more and more confident with my skills as an editor and my understanding of Wikipedia's policies, but I'm always eager to learn more. I owe a lot of that confidence to the other Wikipedians who have encouraged and assisted me. I'd love to pay that back, so if you're new and feeling overwhelmed, drop a question on my Talk page. Maybe I can help you out. If you're a brand new editor, I had lots of fun doing The Wikipedia Adventure, and I think it's a great starting point for learning all the basics of contributing to the site.
A contribution that I'm especially proud of, is the Johannesburg Review of Books article, which I submitted for creation. I'm proud that I could help such an important outlet (and a good source!) get a page on Wikipedia. It's got a long way to go though, so if you can contribute something to it, please do.
