Tohoku Gakuin University Museum

Tohoku Gakuin University Museum (東北学院大学博物館) is a university museum affiliated with Tohoku Gakuin University, located at Tsuchitoi 1-chome, Aoba-ku in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. It was founded in November 2009, to preserve historical artifacts, educate visitors, and exhibit the research activities in Tohoku Gakuin University.[1] The museum has offered training programs for museum curators.

  • Earthenware with ink drawing of human face, excavated on Ichikawabashi site, Tagajo city (多賀城市市川橋遺跡出土墨書人面土器)
  • Itahi stone pagoda, salvaged from the seabed of Oshima Island, Matsushima town (松島町雄島海底採集板碑)
  • Documents of Sakaizawa family, chief retainer of Ichinoseki Domain (一関藩家老境澤文書)
