Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating.
There is a consensus not to add live scores and not to update any statistics while a match is in progress (including the result prior to a penalty shoot-out).
Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors being published on the article.
