Template:Eras/doc

This template formats era designations (i.e. "AD", "BC", "CE" or "BCE") in small caps, without periods, and separated from the year number with a non-breaking space per WP:ERA guidelines. Era designations with periods (e.g. "B.C.E.") may be used as a template parameter, but the output will not contain periods.

Usage

• {{eras|215|AD}} → 215 AD
• {{eras|AD|40}} → AD 40
• {{eras|1100|BC}} → 1100 BC
• {{eras|12|CE}} → 12 CE
• {{eras|215|BCE}} → 215 BCE
• {{eras|1280|B.C.E.}} → 1280 BCE
