Template:easy DISPLAYTITLE

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template is primarily for users who want to DISPLAYTITLE multiple pages their userspace, while at the same time transcluding pages. The transcluded DISPLAYSTYLEs will generate errors because their own names/namespaces conflict with those of the including pages.

Usage

[edit]

This template is intended to be used in the following ways:

User space

[edit]
  1. Create a subpage /customDT (or whatever name you prefer) in your userspace that contains a call to {{easy DISPLAYTITLE}}, specifying your customizations
  2. Transclude /customDT on all pages in your userspace that should receive a styled title.

That's it.

Draft space

[edit]
  • Use this template to avoid generating a "disallowed DISPLAYTITLE modification" error, either in Draft space or in main space.

Parameters

[edit]
  • The |root= parameter specifies how to style your user name. Alternatively, this can be the first unnamed parameter.
  • The |namespace= parameter specifies how to style the namespace prefix. You must include the trailing colon in your styling if you use it.
  • The |error= parameter, if present, passes the noerror argument to DISPLAYSTYLE, which is not done by default.

All parameters are optional.
