Mordecai Strelisker
- ... that Mordecai Strelisker published a Hebrew elegy on the death of Emperor Francis I of Austria? Source: Singer, Isidore; et al., eds. (1901–1906). "Strelisker, Mordecai ben David". The Jewish Encyclopedia. Vol. 11. New York: Funk & Wagnalls. p. 568.

- Interesting life and writing, on fine sources, foreign and offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I like the hook, just checking: Is the synagogue mentioned in the article Brodsky Synagogue (Odessa)? Link then? Perhaps mention in the hook? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:54, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
- The synagogue would have been the "Old Fortress Synagogue " in Brody, which doesn't yet have an article on English Wikipedia (though it should). The Brodsky Synagogue in Odessa was build only 25 years later. –Ploni (talk) 03:42, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
