Language

[edit]
  • ... that while languages have always gone extinct throughout human history, they have been disappearing at an accelerated rate in the 20th and 21st centuries?
  • ALT1: ... that 50–90% of the world's 6,000–7,000 languages will likely become extinct by the year 2100?
  • Reviewed: Not a self-nomination

  • This substantial and impressive newly promoted GA has been nominated in good time. Either of the hooks could be used, both having inline citations to offline sources. The article is neutral but I made no attempt to consider whether there were any close paraphrasing or other copyright issues due to the offline nature of the sources in general.
