This is a comment rather than a review, but I wonder if a better hook could be proposed. Right now the hook lacks context about Walker-Meador's life, or her involvement in said hall of fame (the hook doesn't even mention it by name!). I guess ALT2 works, but it doesn't mention the Hall of Fame anymore. As I don't really think these hooks are that spectacular (though are still acceptable for DYK purposes), I'll leave reviewing this to another editor and asking for second opinions. Approved for original hook (ALT0). I don't find it particularly problematic for DYK. After all, it's never been necessary to give context for everything, and a bit of teasing should be fine. ALT1 is too long. Fan Fair needs to be mentioned in the article body for ALT2 to be passed. (Personally, I think something related to the Minnie Pearl quote would make for a good hook.)
