Hassan Al Kontar
- ... that Hassan Al Kontar, a Syrian refugee, was stranded and lived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for seven months? Source: CBC

- Comment: Many hooks can be taken from this life story but this gives the gist of it.

- - The BBC link provided doesn't seem to mention the exact figure of seven months. - When I brought it up, it just stated that he'd been there for months, and didn't support the exact figure. Brought to GA-status within seven days of nomination, QPQ good. Hook is interesting enough, although it could mention the refugee status. Hog Farm (talk) 17:56, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- I guess I have to update the url for that one, but news organizations had started routinely documenting his situation at about one month in. (I changed it to CBC) ⌚️ (talk) 18:04, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- Good to go with new source that verifies the exact claim. Hog Farm (talk) 18:16, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
