- I don't see support in the article or sources for the statement "left the Mexican army with several other soldiers"—there is no sign that they left as a group, which is implied in the phrasing here, nor is there support for the implication that they left and immediately became drug traffickers. (I also don't see support for the article's assertion that he was a founder in either FN3 or FN4, which are the two that support the hook and the assertion.) There is support that he was an ex-soldier (a corporal, and "trained in assault operations"), that he was recruited by the cartels as were many other former soldiers, and became a drug trafficker. I think a little more work is in order on the article to better reflect the sources, and a more clear and specific ALT hook is needed. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:42, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- You're right. I fixed the hook for precision. Thanks. ComputerJA (talk) 04:57, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
- I was also hoping for action on the "a little more work is in order on the article to better reflect the sources" part. As I noted, the inline sources given do not support the article's statement that he was a founder of Los Zetas. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:48, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Done! See source 5. ComputerJA (talk) 07:18, 13 February 2013 (UTC)
- Hook has been revised, and its new wording is supported by the article and with inline sourcing. The added source does support the article's statement that he was a founder of Los Zetas, so that issue has been addressed as well. Remainder of approval per review by LlamaAl.
