Fuente de la República
- ... that the Fuente de la República (pictured) by Manuel Felguérez was born during the inauguration of his Puerta 1808 after he hinted to the head of government about a fountain to decorate that space? Source: "On the day of the inauguration [of Puerta 1808], with the head of government, Marcelo Ebrard, we told him, 'how nice a fountain would look there'. He said, 'well, do it'." La Jornada

- New enough and long enough. QPQ present. Hook fact checks out. No textual issues. Image is freely licensed. Given that our list of DF/CDMX heads of government is at List of mayors of Mexico City, I'd suggest this as an ALT0a: Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 03:08, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
- ALT0a: ... that the Fuente de la República (pictured) by Manuel Felguérez was born after he suggested a fountain to accompany his newly inaugurated Puerta 1808 to the mayor of Mexico City?
- ALT0b: ... that the idea for the Fuente de la República (pictured) by Manuel Felguérez was born after he suggested a fountain to accompany his newly inaugurated Puerta 1808 to the mayor of Mexico City?
- I'm not opposed to it, but the head of government was the title of Ebrard at the time and it is still in use. Our page is there because it was moved by a sockpuppet but it was never contested. Whichever works best. (CC) Tbhotch™ 17:10, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
As I promote this, I am using the hook I edited. --evrik (talk) 17:12, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
