Chris Maddocks

[edit]
  • Reviewed: Beware of the Dog (Millennium)
  • Comment: One more for the Olympics - would be good if it was timed for the men's 50km walk (it was Maddocks' main event).

  • The current hook is 220 characters long. Can this be trimmed to 200 or fewer, please? Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 02:39, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Modified the hook to make it shorter. Should now be 198 characters. Miyagawa (talk) 18:06, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Did a further copyedit as I said "stadium" twice in the hook and it didn't sound good - but should still be under 200. Miyagawa (talk) 18:07, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Hook now short enough at 191 characters. Article's 5X expansion confirmed by DYKcheck. Hook fact verified based on this BBC News article. Refs in proper format and from apparently reliable sources. Random googling of several sentences indicated no concerns related to copyright violations, close paraphrasing or plagiarism. Good to go. --PFHLai (talk) 21:02, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
