Source: "His significance as a painter is merely local, his style being based predominantly on his father. His importance is as an engraver." says the British Museum, closely echoed by Grove: "As a painter, he is of merely local significance. His style is based on his father’s, with some admixture from contemporaries such as Moretto, Pordenone and Domenico Campagnola. He is more important, however, as an engraver. Others are ruder; Zucker speaks of "pictures of no great merit".

  • :* Review Earwig is clear. 5x expansion confirmed. Long enough. Hook is implicitly confirmed, although the break point of 1523 has to be taken on WP:AGF — I did not have access to off line sources, although that is father's date of death as reported in his article. A very well-researched and put together article. Pictures is free and clear at 100 pix and used in article. QPQ confirmed (not yet promoted; not a requirement).7&6=thirteen () 20:36, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
