2012 VP113

[edit]
  • ... that Biden is believed to be an eccentric frozen pink dwarf?

Created by Kheider (talk), WolfmanSF (talk), RP88 (talk). Nominated by Prioryman (talk) at 10:48, 27 March 2014 (UTC).

  • Comment: I love it! It would be even better if we call it an eccentric frozen pink dwarf. The given value for orbital eccentricity (e = 0.694 ± 0.06) is much greater than that for Pluto. Jonathunder (talk) 01:21, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Great idea! I've amended the hook accordingly. Prioryman (talk) 09:20, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
  • The hook looks fun. The article is new, has enough characters and Hook citations look ok to me. No image.
  • Comment I am unsure if I put the correct voting icon for it to be released on 1 April, or whether I should have waited until 1 Apri. Star Lord - 星王 (talk) 13:14, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
Article needs to be checked for copyvio/paraphrasing. First glance at checking the hook came up with this:
Article - The discovery team calls it 'VP' for short, or just 'Biden', after the vice-president of the United States
Source - the discovery team calls it VP for short, or just 'Biden' — after US Vice-President Joe Biden

Thanks Maile66. As soon as that is fixed, I shall check for more copyvivos. Star Lord - 星王 (talk) 14:13, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
I've rewritten the line in question. Let me know if you spot any other problems and I'll see what I can do about them. Prioryman (talk) 22:14, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
The reference to Nature needed payment, and seemed to be referenced a lot, but I am prepared to take that on good faith. The http://www.minorplanetcenter.net/mpec/K14/K14F40.html reference does not seem needed to me. It seems to be in support of the planet being discovered Nov 15, which I can not see here, but I see in the next reference anyway. Star Lord - 星王 (talk) 10:16, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
