Comment The hook is not supported by the sources. All that we have is a "line of inquiry", and there was a fog at the time. Weasel words required here. Do not want to single out some living people who may not have done anything wrong. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:14, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

  • How about...

Alt 2 that a recent multiple-vehicle collision involving 34 vehicles near Taunton, Somerset, United Kingdom resulted in 7 deaths and 51 injuries?

    • Yes, that is good to go. (I double-checked that none of the 51 have since died of their injuries.) Hawkeye7 (talk) 00:00, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

  • I was just considering nominating this. How about ALT3: ... that the use of fireworks has been investigated as a possible cause of the recent 34 vehicle pile-up on the M5 motorway (accident site pictured) in Taunton, Somerset? Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:26, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
  • I've also added credits for the authors whom I think contributed the most (i.e. not just copyediting) Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:28, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
    • I would prefer "as a possible cause" pending the result of the inquest. (Which has already started. They don't muck about over there.) Hawkeye7 (talk) 00:00, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
  • Which is preferred, ALT2 or 3? Or both? Crisco 1492 (talk) 00:51, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
    • ALT3 sounds more interesting; ALT2 is more of a restatement of the news. And ALT3 carry contain the picture. Hawkeye7 (talk) 19:06, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
