This is the same person! Some of his games (like Sorcerer) are credited to S. Eric Meretzky (no "S") and others (like Planetfall) to Steve Meretzky. His last name very well may be misprinted "Meretsky" on the Zork books, but it is infinitely unlikely that two different people with the same unique name worked on Infocom products.

I really don't think there's anything here that in any way spoils the books. There's only a one-sentence summary of the basics plot, nothing more than you'd find in the blurb or from the most casual reading of the first couple of pages. There's certainly nothing that spoils the endings (beyond the fact that there are multiple endings, which is hardly unexpected in what are essentially Choose Your Own Adventure books). The tags also made the page look horrible, so I've removed them. Tpth 05:52, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
