So far from what I have gathered in the sources, the 19th century writers when writing of the "Country" does not speak of any centralized state administration, or even a kingdom, atleast within the context of the Yoruba Country only. This is why I included "ethno-region" in, as this is a safe word as the region comprises of groups of people speaking the Yoruba languages Danial Bass (talk) 21:33, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
