Proposed merge with Gyeongnam (disambiguation)
[edit]It seems, Yeongnam and Gyeongnam are just different transliterations of the same word, so should be combined in a single disambiguation page. But as I don't speak Korean, someone who really knows Korean language should make this decision. PanchoS (talk) 22:45, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- @PanchoS: It is not really the same. Yeongnam is about double the size of Gyeongnam. Gyeongnam is the province Gyeongsangnam-do, Busan and Ulsan which are in the region Yeongnam. However, Gyeongsangbuk-do and Daegu are also part of the region Yeongnam. Yeongnam doesn't exist anymore as a province.
