Simple English Wikipedia "Sea Snake" page facts versus this page - time for a rework?

[edit]

http://simple.wiki.x.io/wiki/Sea_snake, the Simple English Wikipedia page "Sea Snake" seems to be much more deeply researched than this page.

Moreover, it doesn't contain the counter-intuitive statement "No human fatalities from envenomation are known," when an LD50 for the snake's venom is given later in the text, implying at the very least that it's known to be lethal to humans.

The "Sea snake" page states " ...few human deaths have been reported," and cites a specific, recent reference for that fact (Campbell J.A. & Lamar W.W. 2004. The venomous reptiles of the western hemisphere. Comstock, Ithaca and London. ISBN 0-8014-4141-2) versus no specific reference for "No human fatalities from envenomation are known" in this page.

I plan to rework this page, workload permitting, to correct that specific issue and others.loupgarous (talk) 19:42, 16 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
