[edit]What's confusing? Why the clarification/cleanup tag? (RossF18 02:48, 9 August 2006 (UTC))
Tag explanation
[edit]I have added the cleanup and tense tags because the article needs some general copy editing done, as well as condensing and tense fixing. When writing about fiction, we use the present tense. --Chris Griswold 03:12, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Specific?
[edit]Can you please be a bit more specific? I fixed some of the tense issues, but what specific cleanup do you have in mind. Also, this is a stub, so if anything, I would imagine some expanding is in order, not condensing. I don't think a paragraph (or less) on an arc is so much that it needs to be condensed. If you meant something else, please be more specific. Thanks. (RossF18 04:33, 10 August 2006 (UTC))
- Also, when you say 'tense,' you mean just in the story arc part, not the history of the actual book, right? (RossF18 04:40, 10 August 2006 (UTC))
- Right. Just when discussing the story. What you've been doing is great. No, I guess you're right: Not much to condense. This probably shouldn't be a stub, though; I hadn't seen that. --Chris Griswold 04:57, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, it needs notations of in which issues events take place. --Chris Griswold 04:57, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Question
[edit]What does the 'EiC' abbriviation stand for in the History section?
- "Editor in Chief". The abbreviation shouldn't be there. --Chris Griswold 00:25, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Removal of Tags
[edit]I propose that the tags for cleanup be removed (at least the one about the use of the proper tense) since these problems have been fixed (in my opinion). (RossF18 15:16, 17 August 2006 (UTC))
Arcs?
[edit]How can the first and second arc take place in the same books? Also, given the numbering of arcs, how is the number 13 arrived at, when it seems there are only 10 or so arcs listed in total? Darquis 22:08, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- The First Arc is issues 1-4; The Second Arc is listed as Savage Land 1-4. It's a different 1-4. It's like a break in the main story -- Claremont decided to make the second arc out of sequence and to have it take place in the Savage Land. However, since it is the X-Treme X-Men team, it's the second arc, which takes place between Issues 4 and 5 of the normal counting sequence. If that makes sense. (RossF18 18:32, 4 February 2007 (UTC))
- Also, arc numbers are now shown in between 3 and 13 to show exactly how number 13 is came up with. Single issue stories are an arc on to themselves (which includes the Annual). (RossF18 18:41, 4 February 2007 (UTC))
Fair use rationale for Image:X-Treme-X-Men-23.jpg
[edit]Image:X-Treme-X-Men-23.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Canon??=
[edit]Is this non-canon the Earth-616 mainstream series????(LonerXL (talk) 01:34, 8 January 2009 (UTC))
- It's actually a canon Earth-616 series. During its run, it was one of the Core books. This was before Astonishing X-Men and Clarimont was given a core book to write as a way to keep the peace with not having him write Uncanny X-Men. See tuwien.ac.at (search for X-Treme X-Men); the axis.com (notes the modern continuity and has this quote "X-Treme wasn't really cancelled at all, so much as folded into Uncanny. (Astonishing replaced it on the schedule.)")--RossF18 (talk) 03:46, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
