Merger proposal

I propose that IFRA (publishing) and World Association of Newspapers be merged into World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (WAN-IFRA). The two organizations merged in 2009. A redirect from both to the destination page should prevent any disruption in a search for the original organizations. Crtew (talk) 02:09, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A merge sounds like a good idea. A couple suggestions: 1/ We don't usually include acronyms in titles. 2/ We probably first want to move World Association of Newspapers to the new title and then do the merge.
