Closing down
[edit]Does anyone remember when Wonderland closed down the owners used every excuse in the book from SARS to terrorism to insurance for the closure??? Doesnt it seem a little funny that the site is now at the junction of two motorways and being redeveloped as commercial land Soundabuser 09:38, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
- Funny as in twisted, not haha. I find it really disappointing that no value was seen in the place by the owners except of course the monetary value the land offered. It has to be said the place didn't do too well in its lasted couple of years of operation. However, nothing was done to give the park a boost since the new owners took over, so it would seem they had little intention to keep the place going from the get go. I think its sad. - I tracked down that article about them blaming everything and added the information to the article :) Freikorp (talk) 06:49, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Map???
[edit]Does anyone have a map they can scan? It would be very helpful to show just how large the theme park was —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.239.61.50 (talk) 10:33, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Fate of the rides
[edit]I removed the text "A former employee did make a list of what happened to some.[1]" and the external link to the pdf article. I checked it a few months ago and it was a detailed well written page. Unfortunately it is now a dead link, the home page "www.wonderlandhistory.net" now simply has the text "Nothing to see here". If anyone knows what happened to the pdf article or has a copy let me know, I'd love to get a copy. Freikorp (talk) 06:29, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Looks like the domain expired on March 18 this year [2] Freikorp (talk) 06:35, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ok, so upon randomly checking the link is working again, don't ask me what's going on with the website, I don't know. Anyway I've added it back to the article. I've also saved a copy of the Pdf in case the site goes down again. Freikorp (talk) 03:42, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
