Career time span
[edit]It seems like the table would be greatly enhanced with a little more info about each cricketer. At the very least, I should think citing the years each man's career spanned would be a valuable addition. I'll gadly do this myself when I have the time, but if someone beats me to it then so much the better. — Ringbang 20:05, 9 August 2005 (UTC)
Fast bowler
[edit]"The editor of Wisden at the time, Matthew Engel, noted that the only real deficiency of the list was the absence of a fast bowler." Since Dennis Lillee appears at number six, this sounds very odd. Might Engel have been referring to the Top Five, which received far more publicity at the time than the full Ten.AuntFlo (talk) 06:32, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Reading Engel's full article, it's clear that he was indeed referring to the top five. I'll amend the article accordingly. JH (talk page) 20:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Pollock
[edit]How can that be controversial? There were 11 South Africans on the panel and he only received four votes! --Dweller (talk) 13:20, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
First names inconsistent
[edit]Donald v Viv v Garfield. Either make them all the shortened names they were known by (my preference) or all the formal long names. Any dissent on going for Don/Viv/Garry? --Dweller (talk) 19:55, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
