Date of Death

I came across the gravestone of this man in Cathcart Cemetry, Glasgow and have added his date of death as 1st June 1912. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.8.229.148 (talk) 19:32, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

British or Scottish journalist

An IP contributor has changed the national designation of this gentleman from Scottish to British. I was tempted to switch it back, since after all, he was born, lived & worked largely in Scotland, and is buried there, as is noted above. However, as an American, I may not be the best person to discern the subtle nuances between Scottish & British identities.
