Hello,

There is an article on the Encyclopedia of Alabama that might be worthy of an external link from this text. Please visit http://www.encyclopediaofalabama.org/face/Article.jsp?id=h-1048 to view the article. I used to work for the EOA, so I have an interest in promoting the project, something that is unethical on WIkipedia. Please review the link and decide whether it is relevant.

Citation needed for Findlay skepticism

[edit]

> At first, Finlay's strategy was greeted with considerable skepticism and opposition to such hygiene measures.

This statement appears to contradict reports that his theory was well received on Walter Reed’s legacy page:

> He presented this theory at the 1881 International Sanitary Conference, where it was well received. SalaDitman (talk) 01:46, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
