Question
[edit]Can anyone remember what the value the question was worth on last week's episode (22 October - the series return) when the first contestant got the question wrong and walked away with $1000? He asked the audience and the majority of them gave him the wrong answer. Thanks -- Ianblair23 (talk) 20:58, 30 October 2007 (UTC)
Question
[edit]- Hey! Is Eddie McGuire still hosting this show? I am asking cause I saw some news that Eddie farewells hosting "Millionaire". Kubek15 (Sign!) (Contribs) (UBX) 10:07, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- No. That was in 2006. Eddie McGuire is still hosting the Australian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire.--70.240.215.204 (talk) 22:29, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Chris
Top Prize
[edit]Currently the first paragraph reads as follows:
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is an Australian television game show which currently offers a maximum prize of $5,000,000 for correctly answering 16 successive multiple-choice questions of increasing difficulty. The show is based on and follows the same general format of the original version of the show from the United Kingdom, and is now part of the international Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? franchise.
I propose it is changed to the following due to Hot Seat:
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? is an Australian television game show which currently offers a maximum prize of $1,000,000 for correctly answering 15 successive multiple-choice questions of increasing difficulty as a team. The show was originally based on and follows the same general format of the original version of the show from the United Kingdom, but is now based off the Italian version of the show and is now part of the international Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? franchise.
Any ideas? -- Sk8er5000 (talk) 05:07, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
- Since nobody has objected, I will change the paragraph. -- Sk8er5000 (talk) 05:08, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
