This article needs the help of an expert. I started this article on "red rice" because I heard a story on NPR about it and came here to learn more. Finding that wikipedia didn't *have* an article on it, I created a bad stub. Much later, I hear the term again, and went to see if the article had improved, but it hadn't. I did find that there seemed to be a fairly good stub in the Ukrainian wiki, so I translated it via google. I don't know anything about this subject, I have no idea if any of what I've written/translated/rewritten is accurate. Wrs1864 (talk) 21:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Wrs1864: I've removed "Distribution generally promotes use of commercially purchased seeds containing weed seeds." from your translation from Ukrainian in 2009. I assume this is "Spread of weedy rice is usually as a seed contaminant." which is believable but IDK.
