How many children

[edit]

We have a clear source that says Allwine had five children from a previous marriage. Why does this keep getting changed? Powers T 12:29, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please see User talk:68.231.193.83 for background. I've removed the sentence about his children pending a reliable source that resolves the conflict. Powers T 20:43, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image

[edit]

Is there a reason why the page image keeps getting removed? I've had to restore it about three times now, and no one who's been removing it has left a reason as far as I can tell.--Unscented (talk) 19:32, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

4 kids and 1 grandson editing issue

[edit]

It's already all sourced out in the article that he had those kids from previous marriages before he met Russi Taylor, I don't understand why the user keeps on removing them, it says it all in the article. FrozenFan2 (talk) 22:13, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

They are not being removed from the article and an explanation has already been place on your talk page for why they do not belong in the infobox. MarnetteD|Talk 22:36, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

They do too, stopping being so abusive to me!, please! FrozenFan2 (talk) 22:40, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No one is being abusive to you. I will simply repeat what I told you on my talk page "To be listed in the infobox they must have WP:NOTABILITY separate from Allwine's." MarnetteD|Talk 23:04, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can I at least provide a source in the article when i add it back? FrozenFan2 (talk) 23:07, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That would be fine. Please make sure it meets WP:RS and WP:V guidelines. In discussion you have had with other editors you already know not to use IMDb, but, there should be plenty of other sources available to you. MarnetteD|Talk 23:11, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's ok, I'm listening to you now, sorry that i got all aggravated. FrozenFan2 (talk) 23:38, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Does this count as a source? http://www.todayifoundout.com/index.php/2014/06/voice-mickey-mouse-married-voice-minnie-mouse/ FrozenFan2 (talk) 23:38, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

His awards

[edit]

Since now I already know not to add his kids back in the info box before finding a source again, I've already been told three or four times already by MarnetteD, I can't remember how many times. But Isn't his awards important, like his "Disney Legend" award important for the article too? Just wondering, I already know not to add his kids back in the box again, and I didn't do that, instead of edit warring back and fourth, it's best that we should discuss this here on the talk page instead of undoing edits back and fourth over and over, just to be safe and sorry. FrozenFan2 (talk) 19:46, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Awards are not placed in the infobox. As long as they are sourced they can be placed in the body of the article. They usually get their own section just below the filmography. This has also been explained to you so it would be nice if you read and learn this time. MarnetteD|Talk 21:21, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Right, and before I start editing, I now discuss them on talk pages first before editing. FrozenFan2 (talk) 00:22, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good deal. That is the way to do things. Happy editing in the future. MarnetteD|Talk 00:38, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why!

[edit]

How many times do I have to keep telling you I'm putting sources in the articles for info. You said to me. "As long as they are sourced they can be placed in the body of the article". Please lets not start this again from the beginning, please let me edit articles and put sources and let me edit in peace, please! This is crazy!, I know your going to say to me, "Your not getting the point" as you alway's keep on saying to me. But I'm just saying this is nuts and it's really stupid and crazy!!!! FrozenFan2 (talk) 21:35, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I mean look at all the other numerous voice actors and actor articles, there kids are listed in the inbox too and there's no problem with them at all. FrozenFan2 (talk) 21:38, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What is crazy is your continual ignoring of editing policies that I have explained to you several times. Here it is again - The instructions at the template:Infobox person regarding the children field read that their names are to be entered there Only if independently notable themselves. Why you continue to ignore this is beyond comprehension. As to what is in other articles please read WP:OTHERSTUFF. Why you can't find a way to enter therm in the article is very worrying. MarnetteD|Talk 21:45, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, first of all "I'm not continual ignoring" and second of all "I'm not continual ignoring at all" and last "I'm not the crazy person of ignoring" so you can stop telling lies about what I've been doing. Once again I'm telling you one last time, again. I was providing sources in articles and I still get the point, this rule is stupid and dumb. Creating a section of what you told me "==Family==" in the article, it looks really stupid that way, it's a lot better when all that info is in the infobox, it's better then like that "==Family==". I really think it all needs to be in there. FrozenFan2 (talk) 21:55, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re these edit summaries. The infobox is not the body of the article. Why can't you understand that? Next I am not nuts, stupid or crazy. I do take offense at your using those terms. You should read WP:NPA. MarnetteD|Talk 21:57, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh....... I wasn't calling you stupid, I said the "rule" is stupid, not you. Sigh........ FrozenFan2 (talk) 21:59, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sigh..... You wrote "you are nuts!" about me in your edit summary. BTW the rules are not "stupid or dumb". They were worked on by 1000s of editors over more than 10 years. "Family" sections are not "stupid" either. You really should try and follow Wikipedia policies and procedures. MarnetteD|Talk 22:05, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I just edited. I put the edit like you said to do. If I leave it like that for now on, can I please edit in peace now and keep adding sources too. And yes, I did admit that I did call you, "nuts" by mistake, and I'm sorry, again. FrozenFan2 (talk) 22:25, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It looks okay. I did alter one word. MarnetteD|Talk 22:28, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm also sorry for calling you "crazy", sorry if I got all aggravated of this confusion I had with this. I was going to leave you a message on your talk page that I get it now, but you told me last month not to reply to your talk page ever again, and I did what you said. I'm not replying to your talk page right now, or should I say, anymore. FrozenFan2 (talk) 23:10, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Family list in article

[edit]

I'm not sure if we should delete his list of family members below the article, can MaxamillionSmart give us a reason why he keeps deleting it?, I'm not being rude about it, I'm just curious about why I was being deleted now and why? I thought it was fine the way it is? because I had a discussion about this in the past with another user about his children not being in the info box before. And told me they should be listed instead of being in the info box. FrozenFan2 (talk) 20:59, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

One problem that I see is that you have them listed as bullet points. It is preferable to have them written in prose. Here Billy Crystal#Personal life is an example of a simple one that could be followed to change the one currently in this article. MarnetteD|Talk 21:37, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Production table

[edit]

Any additions to the article needs a WP:RS. MarnetteD|Talk 17:22, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
