Date of establishment

[edit]

The year of establishment of this national park is stated as 1970 but no source for this information is provided. The Collaborative Australian Protected Areas Database report (2022) states 8 June 1893 as its date of declaration but that would make it older than John Forrest National Park, which is commonly stated as Western Australia's oldest national park. A reliable source to clarify the exact establishment year or date would help sorting out this dilemma. Calistemon (talk) 01:28, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
