Date of flight over Kilimanjaro / Kibo

There is a difference between German and English Wikipedia regarding the date Mittelholzer flew over the Kilimanjaro / Kibo. Whilst English Wikipedia cites New York Times, German Wikipedia cites ETH Zürich. According to ETH Zürich the date is January 8th 1930 (not 1929 as in the English Wikipedia). As I can not find the New York Times article online, I think, the date should be changed in the English Wikipedia to January 8th 1930.
