Article title
[edit]The article should be titled Venetian Walls of Nicosia as opposed to Venetican Walls of Nicosia. I understand that the user might be a Greek speaker as in Greek Enetika=Venetian but in English Venetican is totally wrong. This creates confusion and people searching on the internet for an article on the Venetian walls of Nicosia might not be able to land on the Wikipedia page. I would be most grateful if someone could indicate how to change the page from Venetican to Venetian as I do not know how to do this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Giorgis 2011 (talk • contribs) 20:00, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
Move to "Walls of Nicosia"
[edit]"Venetian walls of Nicosia" as opposed to which walls of Nicosia? I am aware of the earlier Lusignan fortifications, but they are no longer extant and do not really necessitate disambiguation as anyone looking for "walls of Nicosia" will presumably be looking for the extant walls (per WP:COMMONNAME, see Google Books results). In addition, the Lusignan walls are already discussed in this article (though they could merit a separate article in the future), which actually necessitates this move as it makes the article not thoroughly about the Venetian walls, and informing the reader on the history of all fortifications that the city has had to date in a single article, as is the case with Walls of Constantinople, would be much more informative and better organized, IMHO. --GGT (talk) 15:46, 27 August 2015 (UTC)
