[edit]What is up with the attendance numbers? "the festival has grown dramatically from only 5,000 at the initial 2004 Wakarusa until in 2011 which holds the record highest number of attendees at 20,000.[3] The 2006 festival had the highest attendance while it was still located in Kansas with 15,000."
but then...
"The 2005 Festival was held June 16 through June 19. After losing money the first year, Wakarusa returned with more bands and stages.[10] The festival more than double the previous year with over 50,000 people attending"
"The 2006 Festival was held June 8 through June 11. The festival continued its growth selling just under 60,000 tickets with 80% of attendees coming from outside Kansas"
Which is is? 20,000 max? 50,000 max? 60,000 max?

[edit]I believe this should be the actual article name; for one thing, the ampersand in the title causes a problem with editing, at times (I just ended up creating Wakarusa Music by using the edit top script). Also, the word 'and' is spelled out on their website (except in the logo, but most other places) and in most news reports. -- nae'blis (talk) 15:27, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
- Merge from Wakarusa Music & Camping Festival now complete. -- nae'blis 22:01, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
The list of performers is rather long. It looks longer (but, IMHO, more legible) in list form than paragraph, but I can't it be reduced a bit? --대조 | Talk 12:23, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Changed format to match to other festivals like Bonnaroo, SXSW, Coachella, and Sasquatch. NapalmSunday 23:13, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit]What sort of photo would we be looking for? I have friends who have attended every year, so I know I could get them to let me use a picture - if someone can tell me what to ask for. Are we looking for performance pictures? Crowd shots? Let me know and I'll look into it. 07:19, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Wakarusa2007.jpg
[edit]Image:Wakarusa2007.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
