WPAWPA (disambiguation)
WPA → primary redirect to Works Progress Administration - Per pageviews analysis, "Works Progress Administration" gets more than five times more views than the second-most viewed entry on this list, Whistleblower Protection Act, and most other entries don't come anywhere close. Clarification - "Works Progress Administration" is currently the most viewed entry that appears to be commonly abbreviated as "WPA". In fact, WPA is arguably the most commonly used name of the agency. Google search results for WPA are almost unanimously for the New Deal agency. - Bneu2013 (talk) 04:42, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. If I'm understanding the question correctly? It seems to be asking for two targets for "WPA"? My vote is for WPA to go directly to Work Progress Administration, and for a hatnote there to point to "WPA (disambiguation)" (the new name to be given to this page). That's what I mean by SUPPORT.
The Works Progress Administration is huge, famous, important, and game-changing historical entity. It's described in hundreds of books, some major, and textbooks too I'm sure. It's very commonly abbreviated as WPA. Every other entry in (the current) WPA is really minor. I'm a baseball stats fan and know all about "fWAR" and "win shares" etc. but I've never heard of "win probability added". The "Whistleblower Protection Act" is the only candidate for any importance, and it's much less. The Ngram knocks it for six. Herostratus (talk) 03:12, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Herostratus: - yes, that's what I mean. I'm proposing to move both WPA to WPA (disambiguation), and have WPA redirect to Works Progress Administration, instead of the former. Bneu2013 (talk) 15:07, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
