Fictional VAD Nurses

[edit]

In the book Rilla of Ingleside, a young woman named Faith Meredith (from Canada) goes overseas as a VAD Nurse. While we don't get to see what Faith does while she is over there (because the book is about Rilla Blythe's life during the First World War) Faith is mentioned a few times, and plays somewhat of an important role.
