Whereas, Dicara's userpage has been indefinitely blocked from editing, I'd say this matter is resolved but according to the rules of the template consensus on the talk page is needed for removal of the tag. Therefore, I leave it up to the community to make that decision and carry it out. Kire1975 (talk)

On 14:38, 3 December 2020 TheSandDoctor unblocked Vic DiCara (Identity verified by Martin Urbanec through Special:Diff/992090678. User is now ineligible for UPOL based blocks. Please direct any questions to Martin Urbanec.)

In other words, User:Vic DiCara has proven that he is the same person as hardcore punk guitarist, vocalist and bass guitarist Vic DiCara.

The reason we ask some people to either confirm their identity or change their username is to prevent someone from registering a Wikipedia account with the name of a well-known person and pretending to be that person.
