Links
[edit]The article is tagged as having no links, but gratuitously adding links in other articles doesn't help. Adding text to photo captions doesn't add anything, and is distracting.
- "Humvee with bolt-on armor kit and without visible Army Bumper Numbers"
- "An M1A1 Abrams in Iraq with Army Bumper Numbers"

Title
[edit]Army Bumper Numbers does not meet naming conventions. It should be something like Bumper numbers of the United States Army. Frankly, I don't think this is ever going to expand much beyond what it is now. This article would be better as something like Vehicle markings of the United States military, and could cover historical as well as current markings, and would have a much wider appeal. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 13:15, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]The article really has only one source. It does not discuss previous systems of marking vehicles. It does not talk about the marking of vehicles by the marines and other US military branches. Why do we even have an article about this? Paul, in Saudi (talk) 03:54, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
No images ?!
[edit]How can an article about markings not include any photograph of markings ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.129.13.193 (talk) 12:29, 28 April 2013 (UTC)
