I deleted the topic of Hispanic Americans in the Navy. Clearly Levy and his great-nephew identified as Jewish American, and were here for many generations. If people want to classify them otherwise, they need to provide reliable sources.Parkwells (talk) 18:55, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have not been able to identify this holding at the Library of Congress, but it is likely to be there.

What does "prevailed against the antisemitism he faced among some of his fellow naval officers" mean? Whatever it means, I doubt that it should be included in the introduction.Royalcourtier (talk) 03:21, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
