merger
[edit]- I agree with the merger since this article consists of only 2 lines. It would be better if we fused it with the Ubuntu page. Daimanta 00:15, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. Same reason as Daimanta. --Harumphy 08:38, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- Disagree - there are significant differences of the server and desktop versions. Over time this server section will fill out. Keep the server section seperate. ArtM9 07:35, 16 June 2007 (UTC)- ArtM9
- The main article is about Ubuntu and all flavours of it. Ubuntu Server Edition isn't even an "edition" anyway; It is, however, a stripped-down version of Ubuntu that contains the LAMP package. You can take the desktop CD and remove all the GUI pakages and make "Ubuntu Server Edition" or visa versa. Until they make an official, distinct release, this article is uncalled for. - That makes it 3:1 in favour of the merge. I'll merge it now. Harumphy 20:23, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
