Electoral history

[edit]

The article makes a big deal about the Transhumanist Party "participating" in the presidential elections of 2016 and 2020, but conspicuously fails to mention that their candidates were never on the ballot in a single state. Istvan apparently had write-in access in two states and received fewer than 100 votes; Kam doesn't appear to have had even write-in access, making it questionable whether he was genuinely a candidate at all. Especially with its heavy reliance on primary sources, the article currently smacks of wikipuffery. What is the relevance of the results of the party's presidential primary, when they effectively sat out the whole election? Jah77 (talk) 14:46, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that the article lacks a neutral point of view and reads at points like a sales pamphlet. Under History is a sentence simply listing articles featuring the party. The list of State parties, except for California, is simply a list of facebook groups from the party's website. Bcharles (talk) 11:29, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
