Critical Reception - Editing of an unfortunate quote

[edit]

Under the section Critical Reception, a quote by Will Hermes contains the phrase "it takes balls to come out this way". This is an extremely unsensitive thing to say about a person whose coming out is literally about not wanting "to have balls" (among a lot of other things). Thus, this can be a very triggering thing for a member of the transgender community to read. I would argue that the quote is unnecessary to include at all the article, and that it doesn't contribute anything to the article's value. It speaks more about Hermes than it does the album. While the quote might be worthy of notice, but if so it should be included in a text about Will Hermes and not about this album. I suggest either editing that sentence out (and keep the former and latter parts of the quote), or replace it with a quote from any of the major critics; a quote which reflects the authors view on the topic or quality of the album. I know this subject is often a matter of controversy, and that's why I'm suggesting this edit here beforehand. - spamb0t 11:53, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
