Honda announced a running video of 10 km/h running. They announced it IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS'09) 2009, St. Louis, US.
- That's nice, feel free to add a new section on this page. Make sure it's proper sourced!--Narayan (talk) 17:30, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
IROS'09 proceedings are still in preparation. I will give the link as soon as they pend it on IEEE web page —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.208.49.54 (talk) 11:07, 12 December 2009 (UTC)
Asimo comparision
[edit]Dear eraser,
i know you got your knowledge on some web-sites. Here is the real thing, a scientific paper about asimo running with 10 km/hour.

- Hello, if you have a problem with the ASIMO part, then i should advise to only remove that bit. However, you better notify this first at the ASIMO talk page. By the way: why should this link lie?--Narayan (talk) 22:50, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Look, I' am an active reseracher in the field, focusing on bipedal fast motion planning. The link you gave me may not include the final record becuase it wasn't announced to the public. I gave you a technical article, a proceeding of IROS, one the two most important robotics conference throughout the world. Anyone who can read English can digest what was said in the abstract. There was a running video attached to Honda's presentation. If you want wikipedia to announce the newest information on the matter, erase that part. It basically misinforms. Or just keep playing around and be happy. It is bliss —Preceding unsigned comment added by 133.34.21.31 (talk) 06:54, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
By the way, if I was rude in my previous msg, accept my apologies. I no longer edit the page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 133.34.21.31 (talk) 06:59, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- So basically you want to change the 7km/h with 10km/h? Just change that, and add your link as a reference to the article, ok?--Narayan (talk) 17:58, 4 February 2010 (UTC)
- I changed that part, i hope it's ok now?--Narayan (talk) 18:02, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Nope. I couldn't clearify myself. Sorry. The robot which can run at 10 km/h is new asimo. It's not announced to public. But they announced it in a high level scietific conference (with video). Their paper in that conference is reference [3] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.107.159.234 (talk) 11:42, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- I just scrapped the asimo comparision, that'll be the best way to deal with this issue. (I tought the paper to be about the toyota robot, sorry for this mistake) --Narayan (talk) 13:43, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
