– The wheelchair racer is the primary topic, and the footballer is also an athlete. Jax 0677 (talk) 11:58, 22 April 2024 (UTC)— Relisting. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 12:58, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support first choice: wheelchair racer as primary topic, second choice: (wheelchair racer) as disambiguator. Note that generally we use (athlete) to mean someone who competes in athletics/track and field, but I can see how that could be confusing to some people. (wheelchair racer) is the standard disambiguation where (athlete) doesn't work as per Category:Wheelchair racers, and racer seems too ambiguous to be a useful disambiguator. • Actually, we try to avoid "athlete" as a disambiguator at all unless the individual competes in two or more different events. Otherwise we try to be specific (runner, hurdler, wheelchair racer, sprinter, long jumper, etc). -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:23, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
