@42 marshall: Just wanted to ask why you keep changing the infobox paramaeters and removing stuff from the lead. The infobox documentation clarifies that consensus is to include Test, ODI, FC and LA ahead of T20Is, which I think should be followed unless there's a good reason for it, and here Astle's only played three T20Is and probably won't play many more because he has had such a bad run of it. T20 is far from his speciality. And I'm really not sure why you've been deleting the last sentence of the lead. Can you please use edit summaries and communicate about it rather than just unilaterally removing content?
Per standing convention, I have reverted the infobox to hold FC/LA/Test/ODI stats. In exceptional circumstances it is appropriate to include T20 or T20I stats, but this is not such a case. It is typically done for players that are best known for playing T20 and have played significantly more of those matches than the other formats. Clearly that is not the case for Astle. See Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum for counter-examples. Harriastalk06:03, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would certainly agree that, in this case, LA is more appropriate - those matches form a much more signficant part of Astle's career than the 3 T20I matches. If that were 30 T20I I might consider otherwise.
The template documentation talk archive contains at least one discussion relating to this as does the archive of the cricket project talk - although good luck finding it. Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:35, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
