Defining the poem

This poem is usually described as anti-Polish (in book Russia and Ukraine: Literature and the Discourse of Empire ... - Page 69) or jingoistic (in book A Commentary to Pushkin’s Lyric Poetry, 1826–1836 - Page 227).
