Summit gained in two days not one?
[edit]According to the article "A Mountain of Many Names" in Alpinist Magazine Winter2024/2025, Issue 88, page 57, Stevens and Van Trump did not reach the summit on day one. They realized they could not reach the summit and get back down to their camp on day one, so they hunkered down in a cavern for the night. On day two, they reached the Columbia Crest.
